I just read that on Tommy's page on Wikipedia. And I don't know how to take it. pale

Hope so! I'd seriously break down and cry if Heavenly6 couldn't make more music. Ughhhh.

NO WAY. As long as she can sing, heavenly6,february6, and the brilliant green will continue! Something like that can't/wont keep them down!!!!

That's true... she could even go indie if she wanted to. I never actually thought about the fact that even if Heavenly6's contract with DefStar is up, there's still February6 and BuriGuri. Hell, just she and her husband make up half of BuriGuri. xD

DefStar/Sony sucks and is a backward looking company. Hopefully, Tommy will sign with a more progressive company that makes her songs available on iTunes, so that she is more accessible to her overseas fans.

DUDES...

THAT'S WHY SHE SO QUICKLY RELEASED I KILL MY HEART. IT ALL MAKES FUCKING SENSE. (PARDON MY FRENCH)

BTW. IF HEAVENLY STOPS SINGING CAN YOU SPELL ESS, OOH, YOU, EYE, SEE, EYE, DEE, EEH?

IT SPELLS "SUICIDE IN CASE YOU'RE WONDERING.

YES I KNOW I'M TYPING IN ALL CAPS.

oh...also

I dunno does this rule out the "I KILL MY HEART" was originally a Buti Guri album, but remixed to be a Heavenly album?

That was a random thought i had while listening to surely.

I thought we basically knew all this already? Anyway, I never trust Wikipedia, anybody can write anything, even if it is a lie or just a guess.

I KILL MY HEART was never meant to be a Buriguri album, IMO. Maybe 1, oe 2 songs maximum may have once been considered for TBG (Surely & Things I Can Do), but otherwise very doubtful, just listen to the lyrics (Candy Pink, Princesses, Pumpkins, Tombstones), it's all so heavenly.

I think there is plenty of record labels who would welcome the guys with open arms. Maybe they could do stuff with japanfiles.com, and get some CDs released in the states and other countries.

And the end of heavenly6 wouldn't be suicide for me. Even the end of all Tommy music would only completely crush my soul and make living day by day a grueling, heart wrenching experience. But I would still live. (Maybe..........)

It does seem like a confusing time...anyway I thought they were all leaving Ken-on n' such...so...it's probably like...they're gonna spend the rest of this year looking for new management. :/

Also Sneakglove, It's very possible to change the lyrics. Just saying.

Haha, yes, good point. I guess we will never know the truth, unless Tommy was to release a book about her life or something.

I mean, I was terrified when the two best of CDs came out. I remember thinking "OH SHIT! TOMMY'S NOT MAKING MORE MUSIC! AHHHHHHHHHH!" & then I Kill My Heart came out and it was like, oh. So, I mean, Tommy has already surpassed my expectations at least once, I'm sure she can yet again. Although if she doesn't I will be super pissed.

Guys i think in ht elong run Tommy gets to do what she wants music wise...

Who knows what happened, maybe the company was pushing her to make the next album a heavenly/February rather than a tbg because of the success from the best albums...Or maybe it was originally a buri guri album, and because the contract was expiring they made it heavenly...

Who knows...I think the only thing safe to say for sure...is that DefSTAR and Ken-on probably didn't give Tommy as much freedom as she wanted.

To clear things up:
Tommy owed DefSTAR one more album for her contract so they quickly threw together "I KILL MY HEART".
Her contract then expired. (It goes by number of albums in a certain time-length)
Tommy heavenly6 as well as the brilliant green and Tommy february6 are all now signed to Warner Music Group Japan.

Thats right. All Tommy solo projects and TBG are now signed with Warner.

This information was given in this article http://search.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/fm20100702a1.html which we covered in another thread.
